Lady shalott

The curse made it forbidden for the Lady of Shalott to look out of her window and to see Camelot. She spent her time weaving, locked away. In order to ‘see’ outside without going to her window, she looked at her mirror which reflected the activity outside that was visible from her room.

Everyone knew of her because they would hear her sing, with her enchanted voice. The Lady of Shalott was a magical, mystical, mysterious figure. She would sing and weave all day, glancing at her mirror.

And then Sir Lancelot arrived at Camelot. And the inevitable happened.
